A reproduction of | Garden Image | August Macke (1887 - 1914) | Oil on canvas | Circa 1911. August Macke was a German expressionist painter and was one of the leading members of the German Expressionist group called The Blue Rider. Macke was born in Westphalia, Germany on January 3, 1887. Judging from the calibre of work he left behind we know he had a very promising art career. Sadly, his life and career were cut short during World War 1 when on September 26, 1914 he died at Champagne, France – he was only 27 years old.

I really liked this product, the picture is lovely and the colours are really nice. I wanted it to up-cycle a writing bureau and I was concerned that the paper may be too thin. But it wasn't and it worked fine. On the pictures I have uploaded the print looks a bit aged and not so vivid and new looking. As I wanted an aged patina but the actual print is clearer and the colours are brighter. The colour and prints are good.
