A reproduction of | View From The Tegernsee | August Macke (1887 - 1914) | Oil on canvas mounted on cardboard | Circa 1910. August Macke was a German expressionist painter and was one of the leading members of the German Expressionist group called The Blue Rider. Macke was born in Westphalia, Germany on January 3, 1887. Judging from the calibre of work he left behind we know he had a very promising art career. Sadly, his life and career were cut short during World War 1 when on September 26, 1914 he died at Champagne, France – he was only 27 years old.

I am pleased with the tiles--they look like the pictures and are actually brighter and more vibrant than the pictures. The first shipment however was that of someone else and had one picture of this couple rather than the 4 tiles we ordered. Customer Service was helpful and quickly sent out replacements.
However all tiles have felt feet. Since I am using these on a kitchen backsplash it is a problem to remove the felt feet. Wish they had asked me if I wanted the felt. See comments above for info

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
