A man dressed as a Pierrot is holding a large plate of pasta and looks very happy to be tossing it with a big fork.
Cappiello was an Italian poster art designer who began his career as a caricaturist for journals. Although he had no formal training in art, he became known the 'the father of modern advertising'.
Vintage Label Art are paper labels that have been used since the early 1880s. They were introduced to America by European artists, and this printing process became known as lithography. This was one of the first forms of commercial art.
