Vintage Black Cat Moon Gift Mug

This gorgeous mug showing silhouettes of cats dancing under the moon is designed with lovers of vintage cat art and admirers of famous English cat artist Louis Wain (1860 -1919) in mind. Called Black Cat Moon, the illustration was first published around 1919 and features a circle of little black cats holding hands as they stand staring at a big yellow moon. The man in the moon is winking down at them and has a conspiratorial smile on his big red lips. There's something magical about this print. The mug would make the perfect gift for cat owners and lovers of beautiful cat art. The original illustration was in black and white - we've digitally altered the print to add a dash of colour to the scene.

I love this mug, I designed it for myself (the only thing wrong is the pink color in the print: it's darker than the preview). The inside color is perfect and also the print has a high quality finissage. colors are a bit Darker, so my pink heart and logo aren't like the preview.
