Vintage Botanical - The Gottorfer Codex 2026 Calendar

Twelve-month wall calendar with vintage botanical illustrations of flowers from The Gottorfer Codex, a four-volume book commissioned by Duke Frederic III of Schleswig-Holstein to document the flowers and plants growing in the gardens of Gottorf Castle in Germany. The illustrations were painted by Hans Simon Holtzbecker between 1649 and 1659. Features digitally cleaned and enhanced richly coloured antique images of primroses, narcissus, blue iris, marigolds, hyacinths, dianthus, wallflowers, crocuses, calendula, tulips, bearded iris, and anemone.
