    Vintage Chicago Stadium Rock Concert Venue 1968 Magnet

    Built in 1929 at a cost of seven million dollars, the Chicago Stadium was the largest indoor venue in th world at the time. Home to many Chicago sports teams, boxing events, Ice Skating, Democratic and Republican Conventions and Rock Concerts among other events, this building was known for it's variety of entertainment though it had poor acoustics. It was closed in 1994 and demolished shortly thereafter.
