    Vintage artwork depicting a boy and girl who come upon a Saint Bernard dog while they had been playing with a toy boat at the lakeside . They kneel on the ground, and the little girl reaches her hand out towards the gentle dog who looks her in the eyes as if he’s made a new friend. The artwork is by Arthur John Elsley (1860-1952) who was famous for his paintings of children and their pets.
