Vintage illustration botanical design featuring blooming orange Fritillaria imperialis (Crown imperial or Kaiser's crown) flowers from 'Hortus Eystettensis' by Basilius Besler, 1613. Besler was a respected Nuremberg apothecary and botanist, best known for his "Hortus Eystettensis,", translated means "The Garden at Eichstätt."
