Vintage Girl & Her Mischievous Puppy,
Vintage artwork by Emile Vernon featuring a little girl of yesteryear sitting on a porch step and holding her feisty, mischievous black and white puppy. Behind her on the step is a bowl of spilled milk which appears to have been knocked over, the bowl broken, and the milk spilled. Her puppy has hurt his foot on the broken ceramic bowl. This painting is titled "Waiting for the Vet." The artist, Emile Vernon (1872-1919), was a French fine arts painter who specialised in watercolors. He enjoyed painting women and children in bucolic settings, sometimes with their pets. He lived and worked primarily in Paris. This card is blank inside for your own message.
