Vintage Indian Paddling down a Rocky River- The Indian in His Solitude
This vintage American Indian in his canoe is a striking image by famous illustrator N. C. Wyeth, who painted the Indian and his canoe in The Outing Magazine published in February, 1907. The Native American Indian man is gazing down from his canoe into the water, as if he is looking at his reflection. The Indian is going down a river ravine with steep rocky sides. The Native American's angle of the canoe is from the front, which shoes the Indian decoration of a colourful sun in red, yellow and blue.
N.C. Wyeth painted this striking American Indian in a series of paintings called "The Indian in His Solitude". The image of the Native American canoe and the beautiful Indian man is memorable. This gift is perfect for the person in your life who loves Native American subjects.
