Vintage Japanese Joyous Insects Nature Poster

My restored version of the joyous Procession of Insects painting by late Edo era Japanese artist Nishiyama Kan’ei (1834-1897) who was famous for his beautiful nature illustrations. The merry band of assorted green, yellow and brown bugs, including crickets, grasshoppers, hornets, locust and praying mantis look like they're having a ball as they dance their way to a party or celebration event. Some bugs are carrying a gift wrapped grass insect box tied with a red ribbon stem, others wave pretty flowers and long grasses.
