This is a representation of the yokai Nurarihyon, drawn by Sawaki Suushi in 1737, from the Hyakkai-Zukan scroll, the Illustrated Volume of a Hundred Spirits. Nurarihyon looks like an elderly man, but with a gigantic head! In modern times, he is sometimes seen as the boss of the yokai!
