Two bits of vintage fabric, one of which was intended for a quilt, are the source of the designs on this nostalgic mug. The colours are still crisp and reminiscent of the quilt textiles that sat in baskets until they were hand stitched into comforting bed covers. Overlaying the quilt fabric background is a vintage floral bouquet design extracted from a scan of a vintage textile that seems to have been intended for a small pillow.
