Vintage Louis Wain Cats Christmas Party Poster
This adorable Christmas themed poster for cat lovers and cat owners features the wonderful, whimsical world of famous English cat artist Louis Wain. The illustration shows a cats' Christmas party in full swing, with cats and kittens having a whale of a time as they add the finishing touches to the Christmas tree and open their presents. Originally in black and white, I've added a dash of colour to the festive scene. The poster would be perfect for admirers of Louis Wain and fans of vintage cat art. The artwork was commissioned by the Detroit Publishing Company for publication in Leslie's Weekly in December 1906 and the original image is courtesy of The Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division, Washington DC. NB Please do not pin or reproduce my version without my prior permission.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
