The design shows an illustration of two men carrying their dead friend in a stretcher. One of his surviving friends, a gentleman in a Stetson, points an accusing finger at the dead man. Above the sad scene is the caption, This man was talked to death. Here’s hoping your wife or girlfriend has a sense of humour! The funny mug design is from a vintage print first published by American printmakers Currier & Ives around 1873. Nagging, it seems, was a major issue for men even back then! The mug would make a fun gift for Father's Day. Wives and girlfriends with a sense of humour could purchase it for their partner!
