Vintage Mercury Glass Christmas Ball Mistletoe Ceramic Knob

It was a few years before I one day realised that this seemingly unusual image was actually 'Mistletoe'. The small roundish leaves with the white berries are of course unmistakable….once you know what you're looking at, chuckle. This is an example of Polish hand painting and wonderful ornament detailing. The pink is glossy, the silver matte and the mistletoe is hand painted and has wonderful vintage patina. A perfect image for the season. I have collected vintage mercury glass Christmas ornaments for many years and they are becoming very very scarce. So I thought it would be fun to share them with you.
