Vintage New Year Greetings Card Poster Circa 1950
This is a poster of a New Year greeting card that was circulated around the 1950s.
It features pine green leaves, ribbons, baubles and a trumpet nestled behind a calendar showing the date being the 1st of January.
The last digit of the year is deliberately obscured by the ribbon do that these cards could be re-stocked and sold throughout the entire decade of the 1950s.
This is a public domain image that was provided by Museums Victoria, Australia's largest public museum organisation. We have full permission to sell this image in our stores.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
