An 1835 illustration from the French fashion magazine "Petit Courrier des Dames" forms the centerpiece of this collage. Around the borders are a dog rose (Rosa canina) two Rene Primevere Hummingbirds, a moth from Diderot's encyclopaedia a garland bearing cherub and some lace lingerie.
