Vintage Plough Girl Postcard

This beautiful vintage poster on a postcard is based on a British World War 2 recruitment poster for the Women's Land Army. The illustration shows a girl in hat, coat and boots ploughing a field with a horse bathed in golden morning sunrise. At first voluntary, women were later conscripted to farm work as the possibility of farm food shortages loomed. Postcards are perfect for framing and hanging on you wall and make a chic and cheap alternative to more expensive poster prints.
