This beautiful poster print for cat lovers and cat owners showcases the wonderful, whimsical world of famous English cat artist Louis Wain. A composite of two of Wains famous floral cat paintings, the poster shows the face of a beautiful, colourful cat with purple flower fringed eyelashes and lush ginger coat against a background of summer flowers. Could this be the first Flower Power hippy cat? To add to the summer of love look, I've framed the cat inside a funky psychedelic rainbow coloured border. The outer pattern is from another of Wain's paintings called Wallpaper Cat. The entire poster is framed inside a purple border to match the cats floral eyelashes.The poster would be the perfect gift for admirers of vintage cat art. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
