Vintage William Morris Bullerswood Carpet Sherpa Blanket

This particular pattern is an 1889 design called Bullerswood Carpet and was designed by William Morris an English textile designer, poet novelist, translator, and social activist who lived from 1834 to 1896. Morris was a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production. Much of his work can be found in art galleries and museums and his designs are still in production. Although best known in his lifetime as a poet, Morris is recognised as one of the most significant cultural figures of Victorian Britain.

The fabric is really soft, and thick, I’m sitting here with it wrapped around me and it’s so warm! It’s really smooth and sleek on the printed side and fluffy on the back. I love it! Fantastic quality and the size is brilliant. Already looking at what other products are on the site as I will definitely be buying from here again. Absolutely fantastic. Some images came up with a warning as I was making the blanket but I didn’t have another copy so I went for it. I expected the photo to be really blurry but although not as clear as the others it is much clearer than I expected.
