Vintage William Morris Snakehead Beach Towel
The floral print decorating this product is called Snakehead. It was designed in 1876, as a floral block printed fabric, by William Morris and printed for Morris and Company by Thomas Wardle who was one of the most knowledgeable textile historians of the late 19th century. Morris and Company was founded by William Morris in 1875. The company produced textiles commercially for sale in two London shops.

The fabric is soft and fluffy, feels great on the skin. The quality seems to be very good, I have not yet tested how absorbent the fabric is. The colors were vivid, the lines of the design clear, all in all, a great result.
