Vintage Winslow homer The Milk Maid Magnet
Incorporated in the design on this product is a beautiful reproduction of "The Milk Maid" an 1878 painting by Winslow Homer (1836 - 1910) who is best known for painting marine subjects. Winslow Homer was an American landscape painter and print-maker who was largely self-taught. He began his career working as a commercial illustrator but later took up oil painting; he also worked extensively in watercolor.
