Vintage Womens Suffragette Kitchen Towel
This beautiful vintage kitchen towel features the front cover of The Suffragette newspaper published in 1912 by the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU). It shows a drawing of Joan of Arc, the militant feminists’ ideal woman, carrying the WSPU flag. Joan’s tabard is stamped with the word Justice. The penny magazine was edited by Christabe Pankhurst, the oldest daughter of Emmeline Pankhurst (1858-1928), one of the founders of the British Suffragette Movement which fought to win women the right to vote. The cover of the magazine was designed by Hilda Dallas. You can change the colour of the white border to suit simply by using the customise button.

I was delighted with the beautiful tea towels, the design looked really lovely. I adore garden ponds and these towels and other products I ordered with the same design will bring me so much pleasure. My garden is too small for a real pond. If you love ponds and wildlife this design is for you!

They absorb so well and wash up really nicely not losing their colour at all. They are expensive but in my opinion they are well worth the money. Yes they turned out perfectly to match my new kitchen
