Vintage Zoo Postcard

This Vintage Zoo Postcard shows a 1950's, classic television style family on a weekend excursion. A young, boyish scamp wearing a bright, red shirt and blue jeans is in a hurry to get somewhere. Oh, my! It looks like he's making a beeline to a zookeeper. The keeper of the zoo is dressed appropriately in khaki shorts, shirt, and hat. What's that he's holding? A monkey! And what's that the money is holding? A banana! Folks, it does not better than this! Standing on the walkway, we see Dad. Whew! I'm glad to see he knows it pays to look your best, even on a day off from the office. He is wearing a blue suit, light blue shirt and red tie. Dad is handing off three balloons, in shades of orange, blue and red to Mum. Mum is wearing a blue dress with a form fitting bodice and flared skirt. Her flippy, blonde hairstyle is most becoming. The sky is shades of aqua, teal and blue and is filled with magical, white stars. Just like the zoo itself, this design is fun for the whole family and is perfect for children of all ages.
