"Lecons de Violon," meaning "Violin Lessons," is by French Art Nouveau artist Paul Berthon, dated 1898. This stunning art image depicts a young woman playing the violin. Berthon made it as an advertisement for a violin teacher. The image was part of the famous poster art collection "Les Maitres de'Affiche" ("Masters of the Poster"), which consisted of 255 colour lithographic plates used to create a significant art collection. The collection, published during the Belle Époque in Paris, France, represented the work of 97 artists.
