Vivid Magenta Zinnia Among Multicolor Dahlias Square Wall Clock

I love the vivid pinks and oranges of late summer, especially in zinnias and dahlias. I took this photograph of a lovely bouquet from a vendor in my neighbourhood who has huge fields of dahlias, zinnias, daisies, and irises. Zinnias are such a classic expression of joy. They're a member of the sunflower tribe within the daisy family. Although they're native to scrub and dry grassland in an area stretching from the Southwestern United States to South America, you can find them in many gardens and bouquets across North America. The zinnia is a symbol of endurance because it blooms from mid-summer all the way until frost. It also symbolises lasting friendship, goodness and remembrance.
