This lovely yellow gold helenium, sometimes known as sneezeweed, looks cheery with its fringe of golden petals spinning around a purple centre that looks almost like a pincushion. The full Latin name of the Helenium autumnale is tied to Helen of Troy, although the plants are native to the Americas. The Helenium is a member of the same family as coneflowers, cosmos, and sunflowers, which is the Asteraceae family. This helenium was growing in a beautiful stand of red, yellow, and purple flowers in a lovely botanical garden, and the image is based on an original photo with artistic effects applied.

The cushion is small to medium sized. It can be washed. It is well constructed. The material used is pleasant and feels decent quality. It has a very slight plush feel which is good. It is well labelled and its care clearly stated. Theres nothing not to like about it. All in all a good item. The deduction of one star overall is due to long delays in delivery to the UK. It's not clear if this was due to Zazzle or somewhere else in the chain as I did not receive status updates of dispatch or progress. I cannot comment anymore on that other than to say that was our experience but it may not be the same for you. The printing was surprisingly close to what we were expecting. Its an art piece and on material so its hard to assess the precision of printing but it seems close to the original. The soft lines are reproductions of the original. The colour is a fair reflection of the painting. This was printed in the US and it looks like US quality. No issues.
