The inspiration for this work comes from my attitude towards the small troubles in life. The orange cat is a very popular image of cats, which usually gives people a warm and lovely feeling. I let the orange cat hold a cigarette, not really to promote smoking, but as a symbol. It symbolises that when facing some trifles or pressures in life, one can maintain a seemingly carefree but positive and optimistic attitude like this orange cat, and face them with a smile. The "who care" below directly expresses the core of this attitude. In the modern fast-paced life, we are often troubled by various things. This sentence is to remind people not to care too much about those unimportant and unchangeable things, to learn to let go, maintain a good attitude, and focus on the things that are truly important and can make themselves happy. Overall, this painting aims to convey a relaxed and open-minded philosophy of life, hoping that those who see it can smile knowingly and feel that free and easy spirit.
