Watanabe Star T-Shirt
The three stars are said to be the General Star. The reason for adding this 'one' character is to mean 'to defeat the enemy', and it was used to mean 'to win'. This custom has been practiced since the Kamakura period, and during the Sengoku period, it was popular to write 'one' in the name of a samurai and read it as 'katsu'. The Watanabe surname is often used.

Print looks very good, vibrant colours, washing very well, too. I don't tumble dry tshirts so can't comment on that. Lovely idea for a birthday child!
