    Watching for the White Man's Boats by OC Seltzer is a vintage American West fine art landscape portrait painting. Native American Indians riding horses and looking out over a lake in the valley watching for white men. About the artist: Olaf Carl Seltzer (1877-1957) was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and at the age of 12 began the study of art at the Technical Institute. When his father died in 1897, his mother emigrated to Great Falls, Montana where he worked as a cowboy.
