This is the Wedgwood April tile of the month in hand painted colours and shows a boy and girl under a large umbrella during an April "shower". A great memento for April birthdays and other occasions. Reproduced from a circa 1885 series of hand-coloured tiles representing the months of the year by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons. Also makes a great accent tile, display piece, wall or backsplash tile, or fireplace surround. Available in 4.5 and 6 inch tiles as well as other items. We have two complete sets - this one in full colour and another in blue and white.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
