Welcome to the Town of Bridgewater MA Settled in 1650 and Incorporated 1656, this is the official “Entering Bridgewater” town sign logo! Find it on many items from cards to clothing. The town is bordered by West Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, Halifax, Middleborough, and Raynham to the west. Bridgewater also near Brockton, Taunton and is on the South Shore, MA 25 miles south of Boston, of which it is a suburb. Bridgewater shares its school district with Raynham. Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School is located in Bridgewater and nicknamed the "Trojans", and their colours are red and white. The athletic teams of the Bridgewater Middle School use the "Spartans" nickname.
