Welsh Crwth, Russian Balalaika Poster
From Musical Instruments Historic, Rare and Unique, Edinburgh, 1888. The pioneering work on historic musical instruments of Alfred James Hipkins as researcher, performer, lecturer and author was respected in his lifetime and has been widely acknowledged to this day. He is known today chiefly through two of his publications, Musical Instruments, Historic, Rare and Unique, illustrated by William Gibb (1888), and A Description and History of the Piano-forte and of the older keyboard stringed instruments (1896), as well as his many articles in the Encyclopaedia Britannica and Grove's Dictionary of Music and Musicians. Hipkins was Honorary Curator of the General Museum of the Royal College of Music until his death, and also wrote the Catalogue for its Donaldson Museum in 1894.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
