Building on the excitement over all things Western, Buffalo Bill Cody capitalised on the need for the world to know more about the American west - he created his wild west show and made big money taking it all over the U.S. and Europe.
This Buffalo Bill's Wild West poster is based on an 1800s book by Buffalo Bill. It shows Buffalo Bill riding his wild west horse, holding his hat in one hand. Buffalo Bill is riding under the title, "Buffalo Bill's Wild West" "Historical Sketches and Daily Review" In the background, buffalo are running from cowboys.
