Whitby Abbey Jigsaw Puzzle
Whitby Abbey is a 7th-century Christian monastery that later became a Benedictine abbey. The abbey church is situated overlooking the North Sea on the East Cliff above Whitby in North Yorkshire, England, a centre of the medieval Northumbrian kingdom. The abbey and its possessions were confiscated by the crown under Henry VIII during the Dissolution of the Monasteries between 1536 and 1545. Since that time, the ruins of the abbey have continued to be used by sailors as a landmark at the headland. Since the 20th century, the substantial ruins of the church have been declared a Grade I Listed building and are in the care of English Heritage. Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, who came ashore at the headland and climbed the 199 steps which lead up to the Whitby Abbey ruins.

I bought this jigsaw in 252 pieces because I originally bought it in 110 pieces. I found it a bit of a leap in terms of time commitment as this one took me approx 5 hours. It was definitely challenging and was on my boundary of tolerance. This is because I like to complete a puzzle in just a few hours. I find thousands of pieces tedious and having to store them leads to lostvpieces. I can never commit Diego busy lifestyle and not knowing when I will find the time and or motivation to go back to a puzzle.
The puzzle comes in a really durable gift box that will keep puzzle secure for a long time. It also fits neatly on to a small bookcase for storage. The image was centrally fixed with no border lines,it was also very good quality image.

Sir,A great product of quality,which really was, jolly good as a Christmas present for my brother in-law ,who is a mushroom expert here in England.
The design,size and convenience of such a present ,was exactly what I was looking for.
He was at first "puzzled"as to the what the Christmas present could be,but was delighted by the contents.He was certainly very happy and made from a fun present.

Nice compact box, however, the picture of the jigsaw on the box is literally no more than 4 x 3 inches and as this is supposed to be a gift for someone to make the jigsaw based on the picture - I'm not sure how they are supposed to do that with such a small picture?! Can I suggest the box contains a larger picture of the jigsaw for those less able to see the extremely small details on the box sticker.
