White Boxer Magnet

A number of boxer breeders seem to overlook them, and reckon that the ideal type should be red or brindle with symmetrical white markings on the face and legs and that anything over 25% of white on the body is unacceptable. The majority of boxer litters that are born contain one or more white puppies. To some breeders it is undesirable to rear these babies, as there is an assumption that they will be deaf, blind or die early, so quite often they are put to sleep as soon as they are born. It is fair to say that of all the white boxers that are born 18% are born deaf, may be in one or both ears. However, they can grow up to lead a happy and contented life just like any other boxer dog.
