Chinese dragons come in different colours, sort of colour coded. Emperor Xuande's royal rug was the inspiration for this mug art. This dragon is cooled by jade colours but also heated by deep red, like glowing embers. Golden long dragons -- almost like legged serpents -- flank the royal emblem.
