Initially this powerful painting was created as a water-colour wash with pen & inks. "Silverwind" was intended as a Pegasus stallion study for Skye's upcoming fantasy book from her brand new "Pegasus Code" series. But as has been pointed out by many equine lovers, this beautiful image also stands alone as a pure horse study.
