William Morris Cray Wallpaper Pattern Long Apron

The Cray design is one of William Morris's classic wallpapers from the 1800s. It is detailed in rich blues and reds. It was designed in 1884 and was one of the more popular wallpapers that hung in Victorian homes. William Morris was England's most famous nineteenth century textile designer. Morris' wallpapers showed his love of nature, which was the focus of all of his designs, and was a member of the arts and crafts movement. The product would have been great however there are several red marks on it which leaves me very disappointed. As it is a white apron as well these marks really stand out. Such a shame as this was meant to be a Christmas gift. I know aprons will get dirty over time but it should at least begin it’s life mark free! The print itself was good and would have looked great without the extra red marks on it.
