William Morris Michaelmas Daisy Flowers Pink Green Ceramic Knob - The image adorning this product boasts pink flowers with green foliage on a pale ground, designed by John Dearle (1859-1932) and produced by Morris & Co. Dearle joined the firm in 1878 as a trainee who showed immense talent and who quickly gained the respect of William Morris (1834-1896). He followed Morris' style, using formalised natural basics in his designs and was a designer of textiles, tapestries and stained glass. Upon the passing of Morris in 1896 Dearle became the primary designer of the company.
