William Morris Red Marigold Pattern Thermal Tumbler
This lovely soft red pattern was designed by William Morris in the late 1800s. William Morris was a British textile designer, printer, artist, novelist, translator and activist associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement. He was influential in the revival of traditional British textile arts production. His work is also heavily associated with the Art Nouveau movement. A digital image of Morris's work is made available through public domain open access, courtesy of the Art Institute of Chicago.
The most commonly known version of the Marigold print is in green, but the textile piece in the Art Institute of Chicago's collection is a vintage red colour. The art appears to have texture or depth, but it's just simulated and printed flat.

It's a great tumbler, keeps my coffee warm for ages! Really well, I was happy with how the marble effect turned out on the white!
