Nubble Lighthouse in Winter, a very cold place. It is about a 30 minute drive from my home. A place I visit in all seasons.
i paint at least one watercolor painting of the Nubble each year.
It never gets old, especially painting on location, there is just something about being on the spot.
Even if I have to sit in the car and set myself up to paint, I don't mind, the time just flies by.

It was a gift to my sister in law and her new husband (who are both marines). And they absolutely adored it. It was a high quality photo to begin with so I thought shrinking it down would ruin it, but it didn't and it looked fabulous.
