It collapsed twenty-six minutes later. The September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Centre's two towers by two planes caused only local damage around the points of entry. The free fall collapse of the World Trade Centre was a controlled demolition. Read about the bomb residue found beneath the building. It is admitted on the video that the 'decision was made to pull it', a term used in demolition.
