WWII General Sikorski T-Shirt
1943 5gr Polish Postage Stamp depicting General Sikorski and the Polish Army in the Middle East. Issued in London by the Polish Government in Exile, this stamp was used on Polish ships and by armed forces who continued to fight after Poland fell to Germany and Russia. By the end of 1945 over 195,000 Poles were fighting in the Western Front. In the Eastern front the Polish forces numbered 200,000 fighting along side the Russians.
