“Old Oak Chest CT” is the sixth painting in a radiograph tree series by Lizzy Rainey, R.T.(R), of Lafayette, Indiana. This autumn landscape was captured on canvas by using the form of a single image in a chest CT exam. The vessels in this one frame have taken on the shape of a grand, old, oak tree with its massive, aged trunk. The circular pattern in the treetop is familiar to the image of a routine chest CT and yet allows light to stream through its branches. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
