The Yaquina Bay Lighthouse in Newport, Oregon. It was built in 1871 and then decommissioned in 1874. It is the oldest historic wooden lighthouse still standing in Oregon and believed to be the oldest structure in Newport. This is the only lighthouse still existing in Oregon that has living quarters attached, and inside they have it set up with old furniture to give it an authentic feel of how it was to live back then. Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
