This design features a close-up photograph of the black-and-white stripes on a zebra's hide, creating a very attractive pattern. Zebras are African equine animals related to European horses. They traditionally inhabit various types of habitats such as savannahs, grasslands, woodlands, shrublands and mountainous areas across southern and eastern Africa. The bold and distinctive stripes of zebras make them among the most recognisable of mammals; for that reason, they have featured prominently in art and stories from Africa and across the world.
