Zernike polynomials mug - Z(11, 1)

In 1934, Nobel Laureate Frits Zernike published a set of orthogonal polynomials designed to span the unit disc for the purpose of describing the aberrations of a circular mirror. Today these same polynomials are used to codify the imperfections in optical systems such as telescopes. Ophthalmologists and optometrists use them in wavefront guided vision correction. This mug features an eighth order polynomial and an informative table of the Zernike polynomials in three different coordinate systems: the complex plane along with polar and Cartesian coordinates. This mug features the polynomials Z(11, 1) clearly showing the domain of the unit disc. In case your friends forget, the functional form in printed below the polynomial.

I love this mug, I designed it for myself (the only thing wrong is the pink color in the print: it's darker than the preview). The inside color is perfect and also the print has a high quality finissage. colors are a bit Darker, so my pink heart and logo aren't like the preview.
