06 RAINBOW SQUARES MANDALA POSTER
“Mandala” is a term used to describe circular designs that portray states of universal order. “Sacred geometry” is a term used to distinguish it from “regular geometry”. Regular geometry addresses quantity; while sacred geometry includes the qualities of the harmonic shapes, patterns and forms. Pythagoras described geometry as visual music and observed that the mathematical laws governing musical harmony correlated with the laws governing physical reality. In music, number relationships are measured in time; in geometry they are measured in space. Continuing with the musical analogy, the geometric mandalas may be thought of as visual symphonies, where the shapes are the instruments and the colours the musical notes. Each symphonic mandala has been given a title, plus a few words that correspond to the essence of its nature. The words can be built upon and expanded according to the viewer’s personal journey. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
